RETURN POLICY:
You may return any new, unused product purchased from kidseyecandy.com that is "Dead on Arrival," arrives in damaged condition, or is still in unopened boxes, for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. We reserve the right to test "dead on arrival" returns and impose a customer restocking fee equal to 20 percent of the product sales price as well as all associated shipping costs, if the customer misrepresents the condition of the product. Any returned product that is damaged through customer misuse, is missing parts, or sent back in non-resalable condition due to customer tampering will result in the customer being charged a higher restocking fee up to 50 percent of the product sales price, based on the condition of the returned product. All products returned back as "unable to be delivered" or "refused upon delivery", not due to a shipper or shipping carrier mistake, are subject to a fee equal to 20 percent of the product sales price.
You must inspect product condition upon arrival and report any problems, within the first 30 days after receiving your order. We will not accept returns of any product more than 30 days after you receive the shipment.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Used products are not returnable and can only be serviced under warranty.

Products returned back with obvious signs of use. Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE):
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 business days.

All returns initiated for reasons not due to our error or damage of the product in shipping are responsibility of the customer.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should only use a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
We can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item if it was not insured through shipping carrier.
WARRANTY:
- Most products offered by kidseyecandy.com come with Limited Replacement Parts Warranty that will cover any electrical or mechanical component during the first 90 days (unless stated otherwise on product page) from the date of purchase that failed due to manufacturing mistake. If any component, covered under warranty, malfunctioned within specified warranty period, replacement part will be provided free of charge and shipped to any destination within Continental United States. End user will have to install provided part himself or contact phone product support for assistance. A flat rate Shipping and Handling charge of $14.99 will apply to all parts orders placed after 30 days of receiving the product. Products that require warranty service can also be shipped to Kids Eye Candy for diagnostic and repair. Customer will be responsible for shipping or delivering product to provided service location. All products offered on Kids Eye Candy website are warrantied and serviced directly by Kids Eye Candy and come with lifetime email and phone support.
All other products offered on Kids Eye Candy website are covered by the warranty from their original manufacturers and might have different warranty terms which provided on product pages. - Product Warranty does not cover lost parts or accessories, normal wear and tear, physical damage or abuse, water or sand damage of the product.
- All rechargeable batteries come with Limited 90 Days Replacement Warranty. To avoid frequent and unnecessary replacement, all batteries must be used, charged and maintained according to information listed in product user manual and on product labels. Batteries should not be stored is discharged condition, even when product is not in use. Batteries should not be charged for longer than specified in product user manual or on product labels. Overcharging batteries destroys them internally and can also create hazardous conditions.

I am writing this review, mainly because when I purchased the bed there was only one other review listed. The product itself is great! It did not take that long to put together (2 hours or so, would have taken less time if the kids left my husband alone). Pros: When assembled the bed looks just like the pictures, is good quality, and everyone who has seen it has been wowed! My son goes right to bed in it and loves the doors, lights, and remote features. Cons: I tried everyway possible to contact the company regarding shipping timeframe and never received a response. I got worried after seeing social media comments that I was being scammed. However, with that being said the day I tried to reach them (I emailed, called, DM'd, used the chat feature on the website) they shipped it out. The shipping company they use is excellent at communicating when the bed will arrive and called to schedule a time that worked for us. The bed did arrive on a pallet, but we expected that from the previous review and it wasn't a problem to carry everything upstairs. All in all, I will say it is well worth the money, I would give 5 stars but the lack of communication from the company was worrying.
I’m writing this thorough review Bc I was nervous to buy this expensive bed with just one review (VERY NERVOUS)! So, I hope this helps you make a more informed decision! The bed arrived quickly (to Los Angeles) and is great quality. I read a review for a similar product on this website. It said it took 2 adults 2 hours to put together (NO THANKS!). We hired an assembly expert to come put it together the day after the bed arrived on Task Rabbit. He put the bed together by himself in an hour (additional cost was ~$100 - money well spent). My 3 year old, who has been begging for a car bed (I’m not sure how he knew such a thing existed,) was initially scared of the bed Bc it was bigger, louder, and had more lights than he was expecting. But after a few days, he moved in, and now he loves it! I actually am really enjoying it too.
Pros - arrived quickly (~2 weeks), looks great, my son loves it (after a few days hesitation), an assembly expert was able to put it together in an hour. My mom was concerned that the doors would fall on my son, but they’re on hydraulics with a magnet holding them down. They self open with a small tap.
Cons - 1. the mattress is a non-standard size and fills the whole opening, so it’s hard to get the sheets on. A slightly smaller mattress would work better. 2. Bc the mattress is slightly big for the space, the sheets (not pictured) keep getting stuck between the door and the magnet holding the doors down, causing the doors to pop open too easily/spontaneously when I am putting my son to sleep. 3. It looks like this company is in New York but after some research, it’s actually China I believe? The plug is not American. This requires a converter to plug in which was provided, but it means the bed has to push out an extra inch or so from the wall and probably isn’t the most efficient use of electricity. No issues so far though. 4. I wish the headlights had and a dimming option. My son loves them, but I think they’re way too bright for sleeping. 5. The bed arrived through a freight company and not UPS/FedEx. This was a surprise to me. One day I got a voicemail saying someone needed to deliver a package to my house. I thought it was spam. But they kept calling and eventually I realized it was the bed! 6. The bed arrived on a large pallet? Like freight. We live in a townhome and the pallet would not fit in our buildings’ dumpster, so we called the city of Los Angeles to come pick it up. They said we had to disassemble it first (ugh!). So my husband drove across the street to Home Depot and paid a day worker $25 to come haul it away for us. 7. Some parts of the bed feel a little fragile and might not be able to stand up to my 3 year old over time. No issues yet! My mom says that’s what EZ6000 is for, lol. 8. I read every comment on their Facebook and Instagram pages and their better business bureau page. It looks like some people have received beds/cars and had some pieces missing making it difficult or impossible to finish assembly. This did not happen to me! But if it had, customer service/returns/new parts would have been a pain to get internationally. Again, our assembly expert had no complaints, which was a huge relief. 9. The delivery guy would not bring the bed inside our house (Bc of COVID he said). Our son’s bedroom is on our second floor. But!! The assembly expert took everything up. Can’t recommend hiring someone to do this for you enough!
Overall I give this bed 5 stars and would buy it again! There are some minor issues/potential issues that might be a deal breaker for you, so I’ve included everything I can think of here! We’re converting his whole nursery into an NYC themed room (where he was born). If I can update the picture once this is done, I will!
Looks fabulous, I haven't put it together yet!! When I do it's going to be well worth it.
